My Robe Is Upside Down

When I was in elementary school.  I study at MI cikapayang elemetary school.  Because my school at that time was an Islamic school, so at the graduation ceremony there had to be students who performed the reading of the Qur'an and its memorization in front of the students' parents, teachers, as well as friends and juniors.  And I'm one of 4 people appointed to display it.

After preparing our performances for several weeks, we finally arrived on the day of the show.  Our performance aired at the beginning of the event because it was part of the opening program.  I was present at the place at 07.00 am from home.  Because we performed at 08.00, we went back to practice again to be more mature when performing later.

Half an hour before the performance, we were called by the teacher to enter the back of the stage.  There we changed costumes and did gradients.  The costumes are mine and Denisya's (my friend who performs with me) in the form of a light gray and magenta red robe.  With a magenta red headscarf too.  While 2 of my other friends, (boys) wear suits and ties of the same color.

Thrilling seconds came to us.  We were finally called, and entered the stage.  All attention immediately turned to us.  We started displaying the results of our training for the previous two weeks. But when we performed, some of my friends and juniors pointed at me and whispered.  Some even laughed and some also sent me some symbols that I didn't understand.  But it didn't make our performance messy, alhamdulillah our performance was successful and smooth until the end.

When we got off the stage, my classmates immediately surrounded me and said to me "Your robe is backwards, shaf".  I looked back at my clothes, and realized that my clothes were completely upside down.  I was very, very embarrassed at that time. My friends just laughed, they took me to the bathroom for me to fix my clothes.

We ended up going back to the hall and continue watching the show.  My mother was also aware of my clothes, and laughed along with my friends.  "I will tell this to your children, grandchildren later "she said, laughing.
